Veronica Kushchenko
INTAKE COORDINATOR
Welcome!
My name is Veronica Kushchenko and I am an Intake Coordinator at The Thought Centre.
The courage to seek support
Seeking support can feel like a big step, and reaching out takes courage. As an Intake Coordinator, I am dedicated to making this process as comfortable as possible by answering any questions you may have about our services and team. I will take the time to fully understand your concerns and to connect you with the clinician whose expertise best aligns with your needs. No matter what your goals may be, our team is committed to ensuring you receive personalized support uniquely tailored to you. I am fluent in both English and Russian and am happy to communicate in whichever language you feel most comfortable using.
About me
I am an undergraduate student at York University completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with concentrations in mental health & counselling, and child & youth development. I volunteer as a Peer Tutor for the Undergraduate Psychology Student Association, and am also a Research Assistant with the Social Cognition Lab, where we study how people perceive different social groups, and strategies to reduce prejudice & discrimination. I have experience working with individuals at various stages of life, and am passionate about reducing stigma surrounding mental health by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for you.
