REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER

Energy flows where attention goes.

I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I provide treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Gentle and direct

I am a registered social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, children, and families across both public and private mental health settings. As a mother of three and a seasoned clinician, I bring a unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise to my work. With a background in adult and children’s mental health, I bring a compassionate, practical, and evidence-informed approach to my work.

Respect for others

My practice is grounded in a deep respect for each person's lived experience and the belief that meaningful change is possible when people feel seen, heard, and supported. My role is to support you in making sense of your thoughts and feelings, stay centered, and leave each session with clarity and meaningful reflections. Together we will build insight that will help you create lasting and meaningful change.

I specialize in helping clients with: Life challenges, relationship struggles, anger and emotional regulation, parenting challenges, self-esteem, stress, burnout and developing personal growth. I also support caregivers in navigating complex family situations including co-parenting and moving through separation/ divorce.

Collaborative

My goal is to help you reach a place where you no longer need therapy, where you feel free, confident, and capable of living your life beyond the weight of "the problem."

I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These modalities guide my work, however, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, focusing on building a space rooted in warmth, compassion, respect and trust. My goal is to provide support that makes a difference.

My background

I received my Masters in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University. I have worked as a clinical therapist in diverse settings including children's mental health settings, social service community settings, and adult mental health. I have specialized knowledge and experience working in and alongside the child welfare system. I have experience running group programs for women and children exposed to domestic violence, as well as child focused groups for parents and children experiencing anxiety. I have also trained as a “Caring Dads” facilitator with experience running groups for fathers with a history of domestic violence with a focus on parenting post-separation and divorce. I have worked in the priority access for child welfare program while working in children’s mental health, providing therapeutic intervention for families with complex needs.
