Grace da Costa
INTAKE COORDINATOR
Welcome!
My name is Grace da Costa and I am an Intake Coordinator at The Thought Centre.
Supporting Your First Steps
Reaching out for support can feel unfamiliar, but you don't have to navigate the process alone. As an Intake Coordinator, I strive to create a friendly, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable sharing what you need. I will take the time to listen to your concerns and understand what is important to you, so I can thoughtfully connect you with the team member who best fits you and your unique needs. Whether you are familiar with seeking support or this is your first time reaching out, the team is here to help you feel secure from your first conversation with us.
About me
I am a student at the University of Toronto completing an Honours Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. I aspire to have a career in forensic psychology and am particularly interested in working with people in conflict with the law.
I have been a research assistant for two labs, one studying music and the other studying intimate relationships. Currently, I am an intern at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care on their research team.
I am excited to work in a role where I can interact directly with clients. I aspire to be an approachable, consistent presence who helps everyone feel welcome and comfortable from their first interaction with the Thought Center.
