CLINICAL ASSOCIATE
I am a Clinical Psychology practicum student working under the supervision of registered Psychologists. My current training focuses on psychological assessment and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
Come as you are
You don’t need to show up to therapy with polished words, a fixed plan, or a clear sense of where it’s all headed. I work best with people who feel overwhelmed, uncertain, emotionally stuck, or just tired of pretending they’re okay. Therapy isn’t about having the answers, it’s about having the space to finally ask the questions. With me, you don’t have to filter your thoughts or hold it all together. You can speak freely about the heavy stuff, the weird stuff, or the stuck you’ve never talked about before. I’ll meet you with curiosity, warmth, and honesty, and we’ll figure it out together at your pace.
Space to be, room to grow
I approach every client with the belief that who you are is not a problem to be solved. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about understanding how you’ve adapted, and uncovering the parts of you that are ready to grow. You’ll never be met with shame here. My lens is strengths-based and collaborative. We’ll work to recognize the skills you’ve already built even if they came from surviving hard things, and explore new ways to move forward. I’m interested in what’s possible for you, not just what’s painful. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up fully, feel seen, and start making sense of what’s next.
Meaning matters
Therapy with me is about more than symptom reduction, it’s about living with intention. If you’ve ever wondered, “What’s the point?” or felt disconnected from your own life, you’re not alone. I work well with people navigating anxiety, depression, identity confusion, or burnout. My style is reflective, honest, and interested in the bigger picture. This isn’t just about feeling better (though that matters too), it’s about figuring out what actually makes your life feel worth showing up for.
My background
Before entering clinical psychology, I focused intensively on neuroscience and research. I completed an Honours B.Sc. in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto, with a double minor in Immunology and Psychology. My early academic work was grounded in neurophysiology, where I explored the role of microglia-neuron signaling in neuropathic pain, earning an award for best experimental design in an advanced research proposal course. Following my undergraduate studies, I worked as a research assistant in neuropharmacology and as a legal agent at a criminal defence firm, attending court and supporting cases at the intersection of mental health and the law. These experiences sharpened my understanding of how systems interact with vulnerable populations and deepened my commitment to psychological work rooted in both science and justice.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Prior to this practicum, I trained at Southdown Institute, where I conducted psychological assessments and co-facilitated group-based therapy in a residential treatment setting.
