Dr. Callon Williams

CLINICAL AND HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST IN SUPERVISED PRACTICE

Here to help, every step of the way.

I am a Clinical and Health Psychologist in Supervised Practice registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. My primary area of practice is adult assessment and treatment.

A little extra help

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I strive to create a space that feels supportive and non-judgemental, one where you can explore what’s holding you back and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.

Who I work with

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, and everyday stressors or transitions. I’m also passionate about supporting people coping with health-related concerns, including chronic pain, women’s health, cancer, chronic illness, surgery recovery, sleep difficulties, and sport-related injuries.

Science meets care

Together, we’ll focus on your goals and values. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, to help you build skills that foster resilience and lasting change.

As an active researcher, my work focuses broadly on health psychology and the factors that help people make meaningful behavioural changes. I bring this perspective into my clinical practice to ensure the care I provide is both compassionate and grounded in science.

My path

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Binghamton University (State University of New York) and my predoctoral residency in Behavioural Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Currently, I am a psychologist in supervised practice in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at Toronto General Hospital, where I provide clinical care and conduct research in the Transitional Pain Service and the GoodHope Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Clinic. My research explores the intersection of pain and substance use in high-risk populations, such as college athletes and surgical patients.
