My name is Aarin Dsouza and I am delighted to be an Intake and Social Media Coordinator at The Thought Centre
A Foot in the Door
Deciding to reach out for help takes a great deal of strength and bravery. I am here to make the execution of this decision less scary for you. My goal as an intake coordinator is to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about who we are and the services we provide. Once we have discussed your needs and goals, I will then match you with a member of our team who is best suitable for you. Your purpose and intentions are important to us and will see to it that you are connected with a clinician who is the best fit to help you achieve those goals.

As a social media coordinator, I aim to keep you up-to-date on information psychology and wellness-related. Whether you are looking for a new breathing technique or information on all things psychology, I am happy to create content that is not only easily accessible for you but also on topics you are interested in learning about. Additionally, my role is to provide you with updates about our clinic, team, and services through these posts.
About Me
I am an undergraduate student at York University, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following my undergraduate degree, I hope to pursue my Master's and PhD, with a focus on child development and trauma. I work alongside other psychology students as a General Ambassador for the Undergraduate Psychology Student Association and am also a Research Assistant for the O.U.C.H Lab and DIVERT Mental Health at my university.
